Finland to advance visa process unless EU states are assisted

After three months, either on July 1st 2019, Finland is expected to take over the chairmanship of the European Union (BE), despite this finalisation of the visa liberalisation process is not sure it will happen even after assuming the EU presidency from Finland.
From the Finnish Embassy in Kosovo have told the newspaper “Voice” that Finland can only advance the visa process if other EU states are interested in doing so. On the other hand, the EU Office in Kosovo has stated that the issue of liberalisation is continuing and that this process takes time to close down.
Even so, European Integration Minister Gift Hoxha has confirmed that the likelihood that visa liberalisation will happen this year are objective, though the decision on such a thing is already in the hands of member states of the Council of Ministers.
