The film In the Middle Ages triumphs in Lithuania

“This film is like a fairy tale, all of us were attracted by its enlightenment, the ability to elaborate its story, and the powerful cinematographic attraction” was the motivation of the jury consisting of Caroline Mallevile, film programmer at the French cinematique, Rimante Daugelayite, the director of the Litian Agenda for Short Film and Spanish director Xacio Bano.

Unable to be present at the price sharing in Riga, Samir Karahoda was presented with video connections to Lithuania, and in this case I thank the festival for selecting the film and jury for this very important award. He also expressed regret over his failure to show off in Lithuania, since this award has special significance for him, since it is his debut film and this award as the first in his career as director will always have a very great value in his life.

Director Karahoda wrapped up his presentation in Lithuania by sending greetings to many lovers from Kosovo.

Karahoda's film, “in mid-” with producer Errore Film Festival, following the world premiere at Germany's prestigious Berlinal Festival and regional premiere in Croatia's Zagreb Dox was shown even at the Festival of A Tampere Film Festival category in Finland, Docudays in Kiev, Ukraine, and is being shown in the Netherlands's Goskort Niegen. This is the first prize for Samir Karahoda's film.

The film “in the middle of” is authentic production from Kosovo and is realised with the support of the Kosovo Cinematographic Centre, the Bank for Business, the Prizren municipality and Pristina.
