It is Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was attending the funeral of 26-year-old military man Yener Kirikci, who was killed during fierce fighting with the Kurds and accompanied by Ankara's newly elected mayor, Mansur Yanaş, broadcast Telegraph.
Kılıdaroğlu has been hit several times in the head even though security members tried to protect him from the crowd at the funeral of the military killed along the border line with Iraq.
CHP candidates in recent local elections have managed to beat the candidates of current Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan in Ankara and Istanbul.
