Despite need and even demand, police officials have been exposed to danger because the company “Allon” from 2017, when the demand was made to be equipped with such vests, did not send the product [...] to this institution.
From its sources the newspaper has confirmed that there are several demands of the Kosovo Police that have never been realised, writes today “Koha Ditore”.
This institution has officially returned answers. It has confirmed that the company that had signed the tender about 1m and a half euros has never managed to carry out its supply.
“The last supply of bulletproof vests was in 2014, while the last contract, which was disconnected, has never been supplied. So, given that there was no license or delivery of equipment, there was no penalty. vested vests serve the protection of the lives of police officials during the official duty, so with their absence police officials expose the danger to”, the Kosovo Police response reported.
