Citizens don't want elections before agreement is reached with Serbia

The Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI), today, has published the results of the eighth public opinion regarding Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue.
Life Krasniqi from KDI stressed that in question whether the country should go to the polls before the conclusion phase of the dialogue continues, 43.7 per cent of citizens estimate there should be no choice before continuing with dialogue, while 31. 4 per cent think parliamentary elections should be held in Kosovo before the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue ends.
In the question of whether the agreement on normalising Kosovo-Serbia relations should be reached, around 32.1 per cent of citizens think the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia should be reached this year, while 22.7 per cent think dialogue can be reached next year. 4.4 percent of citizens think no deal will be reached at all.
Violet Hajoli from KDI said 34.8 per cent do not believe the Kosovo state delegation will succeed in protecting the interests of the state of Kosovo, while 34.3 per cent of citizens believe the negciator team will work in favour of the state of Kosovo.
Whether the LDK and VV should be included in the state delegation, more than 46 per cent of citizens think these two opposition parties should be involved in the dialogue.
The survey has been conducted between March 3rd and 12th this year and has been conducted with 1070 citizens. /I. Shaban/
