British Embassy Offers Support in recruiting Prosecutors

Bahri Hyseni said co-operation with the United Kingdom Embassy through British experts is a concrete step for the prosecutorial system.

For the next two years with the United Kingdom Embassy, we will co-operate to recruit new prosecutors. We are working on developing transparency and advancing accountability”, Hyseni said, adding that the approach of British experts will be in all prosecutors' selection processes at the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina.

Ambassador O'Connell stressed that the embassy has offered support for recruiting prosecutors to the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina.

This project will be very significant for restoring citizens' trust in justice organs”, he said.
