Association of Prosecutors: We will not bow to threats

The Kosovo Prosecutors' Association, taking into account recent threats to state prosecutors of different levels, has reacted against any unlawful act of any individual against prosecutors and ensuring Kosovo citizens that no prosecutors will bow to anyone who commits or tries to commit [...]

The association says that state prosecutors will act only on the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and other laws in power and in no way on the basis of threats or blackmail of those who are suspicious of committing criminal acts or groups supporting such individuals.

We encourage each citizen, for any disappointment with the work of prosecutors, to use legal means and follow regular legal procedures, because it will encourage the highest professional and ethical integrity prosecutors and help us identify anyone who does not act in accordance with the law. We hope the time has come for the citizen to become an ally of state prosecutors, in order to uncover and investigate fair and based on law in force, all those who commit criminal acts and endanger the security of Kosovo citizens and our country's future”, the association's response reported.
