There have been times since the two opposition parties, the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Vetevendosje Movement, are calling for the collapse of the government “Haradinaj” and going to early elections. In addition to opposition parties, recently, although not directly -- even the ruling coalition's largest partner, the Democratic Party of Kosovo -- is seen as a threat to the collapse of the Government, in which they too have a share.
At a gathering held these days in Prizren deputy leader of the Democratic Party, Enver Hoxhaj, said trust in the state of Kosovo could only be returned with PDK governance and Kadri Veselin as prime minister. Analysts estimate that these statements, but also different positions within the ruling coalition, can be seen as PDK signals of the collapse of the Government, which they consider to be the party, writes the Voice newspaper.
Although the Democratic Party of Kosovo refuses that it is currently aimed at ousting the government, The LDK estimates that knowing previous practices of the PDK could make this possible for a short time. But Alliance for the Future of Kosovo deputy Rasim Selmanaj said they see no threats to the PDK's statements, according to him, ambitions to lead with the state are normal even when they come from partners with whom they co-govern.
The PDK's “Declarations are not threatening, ambitions to lead Government are normal. They are normal statements like all parties and are also democratic. But under these circumstances we are working and the government is stable”, Selmanaj said.
