Perskopi's informed sources have indicated that Astrit Pacolli, 25, was arrested last night as the prime suspect in the 36-year-old murder at a casino in Lipjan.

According to the same sources, 25-year-old Pacolli lives in the village of Smallusa in the Lipjan municipality.

It is even said that in addition to the weapons found to him, he has admitted to committing the murder.

After providing this information, Periscopi has contacted media officials in the Kosovo Police.

Daut Hoxha has told Periscope that police can't give any more details about the arrest last night than what he gave him at last night's conference.

We can confirm that the suspect arrested last night has A.P. initials and is 25 years old. So born in 1994. He was born in Germany while living in a village in Lipjan”, Hoxha told Periscope.

Astret Pacolli, as the main suspect in the casino murder, was arrested around 8:00 last night.

At a conference in recent hours, the Prosecution Police provided more information on last night's action and intensive work on arresting the suspect.

Kosovo Police spokesman Daut Hoxha has said that after two weeks of intensive work has been achieved to identify and then arrest the prime suspect in that murder.

The former “was reported for the arrest of a person suspected of killing a person in case it occurred at the casino in Lipjan. Police have conducted intensive investigations. Around 8:00 p.m., the suspect was arrested”, Hoxha said.

Police Regional Director Rexhep Sijarina, meanwhile, confirmed that the suspects have been confiscated by two weapons.

“Tonight after an intensive action by the Kosovo Police, the suspected person we have identified has been arrested. We've taken necessary measures. He's been arrested, two weapons confiscated, and we're continuing to work extremely on this case”, Sijarina said.

And other details of the case were provided by the Prosecutor.

Two weeks ago, there was the murder case at the casino in Lipjan. As a prosecutor, we have taken all necessary measures. We thank investigators for working without stopping in arresting the suspect. Some material evidence has also been found. We'll get his statement to see if there are others involved. It's been two long, intense weeks to get to today's score. A good co-operation between the Prosecutor and the police fights crime in the country” has been said by the Prosecutor.

The murder at the casino in Lipjan occurred two weeks ago.

This murder, and another similar one in Suhareka, have prompted great reaction to the Law on the Fate Games, where procedures for stopping these games are immediately under way.

Initially, MPs in the majority vote coalition had adopted the resolution to close these fortune games.

Then, at the meeting of the Haradinaj Government, a change of the Law on Fate Games was passed, which banned their activity.

This Law with amendments was also voted in the Assembly, while it will soon go to the president for decreeing so he can enter into force.
