For a year, over 200 cases of drug abuse by students

Kosovo Police statistics reportedly during January and February of this year, there have been 217 cases of narcotics abuse by students.
“are 217 cases, 288 suspected, 276 arrested, 51 detained, 270 Albanians, 1 Serb, 17 others, 279 men, 9 women, 31 cases of trafficking, 186 cases of ownership -- no cases of cultivation -- were conducted 146 operations, while three cases of criminal groups --” were recorded, the Police report said.
At the same time, seizures of narcotics have also taken place in police operations among students.
During January, 98 kilograms [98 kg] of 980 ounces [984.03 g] of marijuana, 39.21 grams of cocaine, and 4 paces of ecstasy have been confiscated.
During February, 2,54 grams of marijuana, 278 kilograms, 896.83 grams of marijuana, 76.6 grams of cocaine, and 81 paces of ecstasy have been confiscated.
Between December 2 and 2017 and January 31, 2019, 153 cases in and around schools were reported to police.
“18 cases within school objects, 68 cases in school yards, 67 cases outside school courts, 525 cases in the perimeter of the 350m area and outside the school security perimeter” are highlighted in the police response.
Meanwhile in schools and around them, police have arrested 198 suspected persons, of them 66 students and 132 others. 644 suspected persons, including 242 students, have been arrested outside and on the security perimeter.
Police suggest that of the 198 persons arrested in schools and around them, 49 persons have been distributors and 149 of them users. Meanwhile, of those arrested in schools and around them, 6 were females and 192 men.
