Five people have been injured and seven houses have been destroyed in the town of Rosa, located in the Cauca region.
The landslide came after heavy rainfall that hit this region, while authorities continue searching in ruins.
Land slides are quite frequent in this Latin American country, especially during the annual rainy season.
Unfortunately, these things happen when you expect them at least, and what we're seeing has happened because of the shower season”, said the mayor of the city where the tragedy occurred, Jesus Diaz.

Except to search for people's troops, authorities are moving the soil to unblock an important highway.
Colombia's president, Ivan Duque, visited the country hit by landslides on Sunday. He said authorities have provided medical assistance and housing for people affected by this natural disaster.
Duque wrote on Twitter: “These are difficult times, but we as a state are united to help these people”, writes “BBC”
