Before the tax was imposed, for two decades Serbia has been the state with the largest amount of goods on the Kosovo market, but today is ranked last, says free Europe radio. These claims are supported by recently released data in the recent report of the Kosovo Statistics Agency.
According to the report Germany has exported goods worth over 40m euros over the past month, at a time when before a year, this value was estimated at over 30m euros. After Germany, the countries most present with their products in Kosovo are Turkey, China, Northern Macedonia and Italy.
Of the countries in the region, or the member states of the Free Trade Agreement, CEFTA -- Albania is the first country in this direction. Commercial businesses in Kosovo have found other options to replace products from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
