Wessel: We have deceived citizens with extraordinary sessions.

At the extraordinary session in terms of suspending the activity of casinos and fortune games, as well as completing the change of existing law, Kosovo Assembly Chairman Kadri Veselini said that the closure of the fortune games should be done with legal initiatives, comprehensive closure or carrying out of cities.

According to the head of the Assembly, in 45 days, the Assembly will hold another session.

Their “closure should only be done with legal initiative, it means changing and completing the law number 04L 080, for the game of fate, which can be proposed by the government or MPs, the Assembly Commissions. There is a legal initiative, which may be from the government, to amend and fulfill the law on the games of fate, enables the law to be adopted more quickly. It is the legal initiative by us MPs, the Assembly Committees for Change and Fulfilling the Law on Game of Fate, in a procedural way, the procedure takes more time. If we've decided, we're serious about making a decision, now this will depend on what the resolution will be, I'd like the proposers, we'll determine that within 45 days, the government will bring it out, and then after 45 days, the Parliament will hold another session, and we'll see if we're cheating citizens, or we really have to do this job to the end. Let's be honest, we've done enough conning citizens with these extraordinary” sessions, he said.

The resolution has been adopted by 74 votes where it initially as such, suspends the games of fate and within 30 days the government brings the law to the Parliament that prohibits these.
