The Dialogue Bill is still not known when it will be in the Assembly, though three-four sessions are expected this week. Even this bill, which has been voted first reading in the Kosovo Assembly for more than a month, has not yet been reviewed through second-read parliamentary commissions.
Deputy Speaker Xhavit Haliti has said of “Zerin” that the bill is not part of the agenda at the hearings that were scheduled for this week, but if it manages to be examined on the commissions, then at the request of parliamentary parties it may even enter a session by the end of the week.
However, even after changes that the bill could suffer in second review, the two opposition parties -- the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Vetevendosje Movement -- will not vote. While analysts say this bill should not pass with the simple majority of votes, with two-thirds of Kosovo Assembly deputies.
