He in an interview for the Italian newspaper “Republic” has been asked about the tensioned “cystat with Pristina due to the Trepca mine” and “if there is a risk of conflict”.
Vuciq has said he has discussed with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
I told him that we appreciate KFOR's work and protected Serbs in Kosovo. We expect it to go on like this. Pristina cannot move to Trepca without KFOR and NATO permission”.
“I hope you won't risk your peace. Before danger, we will have no choice but to protect our people. But, we hope that KFOR, in which I trust, will solve any problem and that Pristina will be rational”, Vuciq concluded.
