British lawmakers today will vote for the third time for Brex, but only for the part of the negotiated agreement with the European Union.
They will vote on the withdrawal agreement, but will be ruled out as political declaration on future relations with the European Union, citizens' rights and export of Ireland's food to Britain.
“Ligia is new and substantially different”, the head of the House of Communities said, after rejecting holding a vote last week with the motive that MPs cannot re-evaluate a text that was rejected earlier.
However, Keir Starmer, the lab representative in charge of Brex, confirmed his party's opposition to this deal.
He also rejected the executive's attempt to split the exit agreement from the political declaration on future relations with the EU.
If MPs back the plan, the government says Great Britain will leave the European Union 22 May.
