Protesters, who recently gathered in front of the PD headquarters with Chairman Lulzim Basha, have begun to disperse.
Before the protest march, Lulzim Basha has given a speech.
“Second Day of National Awakening, the biggest union the nation's Witnesses have ever seen. Today in panic as never before, Edi Rama's political corpse escalated the unprotested violence of protesters, to leave the protest”, he said.
Basha, further said the “response took from the long hands of the crime, will be placed in charge of the law, sworn before you and before Albania. There is no other way to return democracy, except for popular protests. We were a lot more on February 16, on March 16,”, he said.
“No stability without democratity ? S'ka stability without democracy”, he said.
Also, straining the situation with Parliament, where opposition protesters are clashing with police in an attempt to enter the building, has also brought the reaction of President Ilir Meta.
The head of state calls for preserving calm and avoiding confrontations.
The president of the Republic is following the situation with concern. He calls for peaceful demonstrations and quiet maintenance. It urges all to avoid confrontations and stay away from provocations”, the presidency says.
Police also used tear gas to disperse protesters.
