Protesters v. Vuciqi: We fear more now than in 1999

Many citizens gathered in front of the philosophical faculty in Belgrade, which are demanding President Vuciq's resignation and holding new elections.

“If our demands are not met, the whole of Serbia will meet on April 13th against usurpors”, one of the protest organisers has said.

After that, a minute of silence has been held for victims of NATO intervention bombings.

Now I feel more afraid than in 1999. Thank you for being inspired to fight in another form”, Leciq said.

He urged citizens not to cause violence during the protest.
