President Thaci: March 11th demonstration, new historical phase

Thaci has written on Facebook that following the 1968 demonstrations, which openly voiced the demand for the establishment of Kosovo's status at the republic level, on March 11th 1981 began a new historic phase.

The “Demonstrata initiated by students of the University of Kosovo became the will and popular requirement for the Republic of Kosovo. 1981 marks the final turn of orientation of political requirements for advancing Kosovo's political status, which after efforts and sacrifices was crowned with the release and independence of Kosovo”, it wrote on Facebook.
