A large number of people with heart disease use herbal drugs as therapy in hopes of improving their health.
Previous scientific research has provided scant evidence of the safe and effective functioning of plant drugs for pain or disease. However, herbal drugs are very popular in the market.
In most countries, herbal drugs are sold without previous clinical evidence and therefore have little evidence of their safety and efficiency in treatment.
A recent study in America tested 42 most required plant drugs for treating heart disease (high blood pressure, heart failure, arterial strengthening).
The results showed that none of the tested drugs cause possible side effects or complications. Researchers say that the possible reason for the popularity of herbs is the absence of some complications, so heart disease patients often do not report to their doctors that they use herbal drugs.
Researchers believe that doctors need to improve their knowledge of herbs to evaluate clinical implications. Then doctors can explain patients with heart disease that they should not always be sure of the use of herbs, as there may be potential risks.
Compliments arise when patients take on clinical therapy and start using herbs without consulting a doctor.
It is important to know that certain plant preparations can weaken the effect of regular <x0-> drugs if taken at the same time, which can make health worse. There is another type of danger when herbal drugs are combined with regular drugs “are subject to” effect, which can also be dangerous, for example, a significant increase in blood pressure or reduced blood pressure under normal values.
