The municipality destroyed the homes of the people of Sibovtz, built in the area of special interest

Despite calls that in the area of particular economic interest involving several Obilic villages, construction is being done, residents of the village of Sibovc are building houses. One of them was devastated by the Obilic Community Inspectorate, which residents are complaining about. Yesterday, Obilic Community Inspectorate resident Mersim Krasniqi has ruined [...]
Yesterday, Obilic Community Inspectorate resident Mersim Krasniqi has ruined the house where he had just begun his work. Krasniqi, who currently lives in Pristina, has said that having no other solution has had to start building the house on its own soil, though for this construction he has not obtained permission from the municipality.
The householder says that three weeks ago the Obilic Inspectorate has ceased his work until Saturday he has been brought the decision to destroy his home. He says that there are other houses that have been built recently but that have not been destroyed until the original home has been built for habitation.
“Yes, in this village were built in 2018, there are built houses and they haven't ruined the Obilic municipality with its inspectors, but they have come and destroyed my house, which is about 68 square meters. I didn't do it for KEK's interests, but I did it with a stable material not like in Hades and Shirley, but I did it with good material, I did it for my individual needs”, the owner of the ruined house said.
He claims that his housework will continue until he has even warned the indictment against Obilik's chairman, Xhafer Gashi, while adding that his house is far from the risk line KEK has designated as an area of interest.
It's outside the area because the day the inspectors came in, they said you're in KEK's red line where he called 125 acres, they know, I told them, look at the map and look where I am and look where the line is. When we went to the municipality with them, they said you're not on that line“, Krasniqi said.
Residents of Sibovci's “neighborhoods managed to meet only with the deputy head, Ibush Medici, during the day.
Daut Krasniqi, resident of this part, says they are living in danger and are not being allowed to live a normal life as others do.
As long as he confirmed what happened to his cousin, Krasniqi says the municipality is not offering them another choice, leaving them isolated. According to him, the municipality is investing in this village by building streets and sports fields, but does not allow construction of private homes.
They came and knocked down an object that was being built, came down two, but we stopped it. It is an individual property that has not been paid, which has not been consulted with the owners, only a KEK bankman has arrived, who has yet made a serious violation of the conflict of interest... if we continue to have too many dramatic events, because we are residents, we have neither bought, nor developed, nor built for the benefit of other neighbourhoods. In the post-war period for 20 years we have built five houses a neighbourhood that has been with 40 houses before the war ... When building the basketball field is allowed why it is not allowed to build houses”, he said.
Regarding the case at the Directorate of Inspectorate in the municipality of Obiliki, it has revealed that the ruined house had no building permits.
The director of this dictatorship, Burim Ismaili, said that citizens have long been informed that they should not build in this area, warning that they will do the same for any resident who builds illegally.
The house has collapsed because it is built without construction permits and is located in the area of particular economic interest declared by the Government of Kosovo, which the decision is in effect. Citizens have long been notified of all procedures. We'll do the same for all houses that were built illegally. We are obliged to act in the future according to the applicable laws in Kosovo”, Ismaili warns.
He has appealed to all residents not to build illegally, as it will be to their detriment, and that no harm will be compensated.
And from the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK), it has only provided the necessary mechanism for the collapse of the facility built in the Special Economic Interest Zone.
KEK spokesman Skender Bucolli told Kosova Prees, that KEK has responded positively to the Obilic municipality's demand to provide service for the collapse of Mirsim Krasniqi's house.
As for this matter, we are informing you that the Obilic Community Inspection Directorate on the date 2203.2019 has addressed KEK with a request KEK has been asked to provide the necessary mechanism for the collapse of objects built in the area of particular economic interest. As a result, KEK has responded positively to this request by which he has only provided service to this dictatorship, who is carrying out his obligations based on the legislation in power”, says Bucolli's response through email.
Otherwise, weeks ago residents of Sibovci have signed a petition to the municipality of Obilic, the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning and Government.
