” This scientific treasure, discovered in this mystical space, numbers seven valuable objects, including an object in ceramic that served to burn incense, as well as other objects”, was expressed during a press conference of scholar Guillermo de Anda, writes ATSH.
Scientists hope that these traces found in ruins will reveal who Itzaes was and where the Maya people who lived on the Yucatan Peninsula came from. This cave was discovered more than 50 years ago by local populations that had later informed the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH).
