Major action of police: Bases 30 locations for smuggled goods

Kosovo customs through a communique for the media has announced that today in the early hours of the morning, a major action has been launched under efforts to combat organised crime and smuggling.

Kosovo customs in co-operation with the Kosovo Police has undertaken a control operation at 30 different locations owned by 17 persons suspected of smuggling.

The operation has been extended to the region of Pristina, Prizren, Mitrovica, Gjakova and Ferizaj.

From the first reports, officials have encountered smuggled goods.
