Facebook Kurt Post:
Dear readers and friends, these days, from March 5th to March 7th, the entire Kosovo -- even all Albanian -- respectfully and respectfully commemorates the bravery and sacrifice, strength and determination, contribution and teaching of the Jashar family.
21 years ago, in the early hours, without yet dawning March 5th, numerous Serbian Army forces, with armoured vehicles, tanks and artillery, surrounded the Jasarash homes in Prekaz.
They sought to stop the heart of Albanian resistance against Serb cruelty. And this powerful heart of resistance to our nation was of truly heroic proportions. This heart was itself Adam Jashar, the chief warrior of freedom.
Along with other warriors, never - ending from Hamza, Adam Yashhar did not fight for just a few months or two years. He began preparing for the liberation war in the late 1980s, at a very young age, fought him despite persecution from Serbia for years since the early 1990s. To say that Adam Jashar was the KLA since before the KLA was declared and organised, it is not excessive.
In the three days of the night of epic resistance in Prekaz, 58 martyrs fell for freedom of homeland, of which 18 women and 10 children. We Albanians have experienced oppression together, men and women, old and young. And indeed We have created martyrs of every age. So it's pointless, and unacceptable, for discrimination to continue even after the liberation. The martyrs did not give up life so that some might have more freedom and some less!
In closing the KLA era on March 7th, when Albanians everywhere celebrate teacher's day, they also remember Shaban Jashar, the father of Hamza and Adam, who taught Drenica's daughters and sons as his children, and, he taught his children to become but Albanians of our glorious, determined rebels.
With the murder of Adam Yasar, the war machine won a battle. At the same time, however, the fate of that cruel machine - the loss of war - was recorded. With his heroic fall, along with the 57 other Prekaz martyrs, Adem Jashari became a teacher of the Albanian nation, taught him the precious lesson of resistance at any cost, against captivity, about freedom.
So this man, born on November 28th and fallen on March 7, with his life and death, revived these two sacred dates, gave them more meaning. The heart that Serbia tried to stop became the eternal heart of our people, which beats without stopping, for liberation and justice, for independence of life with honor.
Let us teach the little ones, let us tell it to other peoples, proudly, the history of Adam Jashar and the heroic Pracas.
