Macedonia's largest opposition party MP, Vlasko Djorchev, stressed that it is the right guaranteed by law for the president to return to the Assembly for review, laws he considers there is no legal basis for decreeing.
As the Northern Macedonia Assembly services revealed, it is about laws in different areas like the economy, agreements on co-operation between states, security services, electronic communications law, or freedom of access to public character information.
The failure to recall, Ivanov justified the argument that “during the exercise of this post has always acted on the oath taken to protect the Constitution and interests of the Republic of Macedonia”.
The head of state has not decreed even two-thirds of the votes dealing with judicial reforms, considered key to the country's European integration process.
