Increasing Cases of Sexual Abuse against Teenages

The number of cases of sexual and physical abuse of minors in the Kamenica municipality has increased. The Center for Social Affairs in this municipality recorded six cases of child abuse that occurred in 2018.

Of these three cases are child sexual abuse, 2 with physical abuse of children, and 1 is about neglect. Victims belong to female women. In the municipality of the Year, however, child abuse is physical, taking place inside and outside the family circle, writes Koha Ditore today.

Twelve cases of physical abuse of children have been recorded in this municipality. And the QPS in the Novoberda municipality have claimed they have no evidence of any case involving physical child abuse. The QPS in the Year and Kamenica state that for the prevention of this growing phenomenon, there must be a greater commitment and response of society. The social service official in the Kamenica municipality, Kimete Kryeziu, claims that concern remains the sexual abuse of children. She says there are evidence cases when children are being blackmailed online.
