How can you improve your mood in 12 minutes?

Researchers at Ayva State University have found another way to get back in good shape. This includes helping others to feel better too.

“ecation and the provision of kindness to others in the world reduces stress and enhances social relations and happiness. It's a simple strategy that doesn't take much time and that you can include in your daily activities”, says Douglas Gentile.

For this study, Gentile and his team asked university students to walk around the campus for 12 minutes and practice one of the three different techniques designed to reduce anxiety and increase happiness.

These techniques are:

Love-Kidness: Students were given advice to look at people and think to themselves: ” I want this person to be happy”. They were encouraged to love these positive thoughts.

LinksStudents in the group looked at people and thought about what they were related to each other. For any common sense or hope they had, or something even simpler, like going to the same speeches.

Social comparison: Here the students were told to think of what could be better than any man they met.

When researchers compared all three techniques with members of the group who were focused on presentation alone, they found that those who practiced love and kindness for people who were happy, they themselves felt better. They felt less concerned and more bound, loved and sensitive.

The group that looked at how they could be connected turned out to be more sensitive and connected. Students who compared themselves to others, however, did not achieve benefits and were less loved, bound, and sensitive than those in the first group.

So goodness is the solution. Next time you feel worried and looking for some dessert to make you feel better, you can just think beautiful thoughts better. It's a good way to spend 12 minutes. /Express/
