Sanctions supported by ambassadors are expected to be formally approved next week, have revealed under the condition of anonymity, EU officials.
After that decision, the eight Russians will be added to the EU list as subjects who have been hit with sanctions for miniming Ukraine's territorial integrity.
This list consists of 163 individuals and 44 entities and was established after March 2014, Russia took control of the Crimea region in Ukraine and supported separatists fighting Kiev forces. Some 13,000 people have been killed since 2014. / REL/
