The candidate of the Justice and Development Party (Paria AK) for Istanbul Mayor Binali Yıldırım, using the word “faithful” in Albanian, promised that in Istanbul they would serve in peace and with a common feeling.
Under preparations for local elections in Turkey to be held on 31 March, Yıldırım met with migrants from the Balkans in Istanbul.
He recalled in his speech that Turkey is the first country to have recognised Northern Macedonia.
Yıldırım stressed how Turkey will do what is necessary for Balkan peace, peace and future, as they have done so far, AA reports.
Also showing that Turkey develops works to enliven historical monuments in the Balkans, said it has set out on its journey to become chairman of all Istanbul citizens.
He used the word “the faithful” in Albanian said that, “Albanians have one word, trust faithful beliefs. This word is a great oath. More important than anything. If a person says trust, the head goes, but the promise is fulfilled. I'm telling you my trust. I give you the word of Binali Yıldırım. In Istanbul we will serve in peace and with a common feeling”.
Yıldırım further stated that Istanbul will be transformed into a place where happy people live.
After the talk, Yıldırım placed a plis that was donated to him during the meeting.
