Drug trafficking, greatest security threat in Kosovo

In Puls of KTV, he has said that after trafficking in narcotics, as major threats are trafficking with human beings, terrorism, cyber crimes, smuggling with migrants, goods and then economic crime.
He has said narcotics trafficking has marked growth in recent years, stressing that Kosovo serves more as a transit nation.
Kosovo is a country of origin or producer, but is a transit country. We're also not the first country or last for narcotics. Mainly narcotics has destinations of developed EU and US countries”, he has said.
According to him, 1816 new cases of narcotics traffickers were recorded in 2018, while over 1,000 kilograms of narcotics have been confiscated for a year.
He has said over 400,000 people have been checked, while only close to schools have 596 people been arrested for this work. Over 2100 narcotics trafficking people have been arrested in total.
