Self - determination protects the tax despite pressure from America to remove it

In an interactive interview of KTV, Svecla has said that the request to remove the tax is the request of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq and the international community, located prior to a very strong position of Serbia, normally then that the pressure returns to Kosovo institutions.

We think this tax is fair, maybe not set in the best possible way. But, seeing Serbia's behaviour towards us, measures have had to be taken. We think the best move with Serbia would be the measure of full reciprocity. The government was unable to do that, and it raised the tax. The prime minister has said the tax will not be lifted until Kosovo's recognition by Serbia. Unfortunately, he has smoothed his words. But while the tax is, we'll back it”, Svechla said.

As long as we support the tax, Svechla said the VV does not support Haradinaj's rule.

We have declared this to be a government of scandals. It's a tax we support, it's the laws for the Army, which, not only because we supported them, but we contributed to them. But that's all, we don't support the other”, he stressed.

As for employing close persons with the Haradinaj Government in Kosovo Telecom, Svecla said that “this shows their governing mentality”.

The first moment they came to power has started with scandals and violations, employing their militants and family. Every scandal is a legal offense. The main violators are either the government or the participating parties in the government”, the VV deputy said further.

Regarding the government's collapse and the statement that they do not give Serbian List votes to bring down this government, Svecla said that “we do not give Serbian List votes in a sense that we are not blackmailed by them”.

But if the prime minister wants the country's best, he should either step down or ask for a vote of confidence... If we rationally analyze the situation, I am convinced that this government is unable to continue for the next weeks, let alone the whole year. This government is being held on crutches, which one day will fall. We have to go to new elections. PSD is government crutche”, Svechla stressed.

Speaking of co-operation with the LDK, he said this political subject could be the first partner for co-governance.

He did not comment on Melihate Trmkoll's statement last night at KTV's interactive, which said the VV is smart like PDK. Svechla said that “is important for the VV has the position of subject and of the party's highest bodies”.

The former head of the Parliamentary Investigative Commission in the case of the deportation of 6 Turkish citizens, Xhelal Svechla, the PDK deputy's statement, Hajdar Beqa, also part of this commission, has called it a lie that it belongs to any Turkish agent.

I heard Deputy Beqa's statement. I don't know how to express myself or wonder or not. Such a declaration would have to, normally, surprise us, but when we consider their irresponsible behavior, that level of wonder would have to fall. That doesn't normally stay. Beqa was part of the commission. With full consciousness he has made this slander, and I believe that the first days of next week I will sue you for this slander. It is left to the court to assess who has made instructions on the commission's work, who has made obstacles to this case. I expect that the court will take a merit verdict and punish libel”, VV deputy said.

He said he has consulted with the former chairman of this Commission, Driton Selmanaj of the LDK, about the possibility of lawsuits against Beqa, and hopes he will take the same step.

Svechla talked about the Commission's findings, which she said are clear. It's strange how MPs, but even the ruling subjects, comment on the commission's work, the conduct of individuals, but in no case have the findings commented. I've never heard him say that the opinion of the independent expert contains falsehood. I've heard no further data attached to this report”, he said.

Svecla has rejected Beqa's statements that some witnesses have been heard in the Commission without quorum.

The “is a failure in the Law for Parliamentary Investigation, where it says the commission is led by the opposition, but the quorum makes the position. That's how they did the construction, released the committee meeting... But it does not stand at any moment that the Commission's work has been illegal”, Svechla said.

The VV deputy said it is a court case on the Commission's mandate.

When we wanted to vote on the commission report, Beqa has said that this commission is out of mandate. The head of the Assembly has clarified that the vote could take place even after the mandate ends. Then, because of various pressures, the Headship of the Parliament has acted differently, not continuing our work for another month with unstable reasoning, which is also legal offense. We have indicted the head of the Parliament for this job, and we are waiting for the Constitutional Court to call off this decision and extend our mandate for another month. But, it's been a month and we haven't been given answers from Court”, he said.

The reactions of the foreign embassies in Kosovo in connection with the Kosovo expulsion case of Turks have been fully considered rights, which he said require full detection of this case and for rule of law to begin operating in Kosovo.
