Calls for joint customs with the European Union were rejected by 272 votes against 264 pro, while a call for the new referendum was rejected by 295 votes against it.
Secretary for Brex, Steven Barclay, has said the result strengthens the government's position that their agreement was the best <x0->opsoption”.
The Labus alternative plan was rejected by 307 votes. The other five options included supporting out without agreement, the so-called Joint Market Plan 2.0, the proposal for the remnant of the European Economic Area, and the halting of the process by removing Article 50 ʹ failed to take the majority to Parliament.
