However, this number is expected to change at the initiative of the Ministry of Justice, which has started re-shaping the Law for Property and Property Declaration, KTV reports.
This ministry estimates that about a thousand asembrists of municipal congregations and several other categories, it is unnecessary to continue declaring their wealth.
The justice ministry says it is more important to make it a category that can easily be included in corrupts, such as doctors, policemen, and university professors.
“Including these categories as part of a statement of wealth in another form, we will fight the informality that may occur, because those people will declare the wealth and incomes that will be shared by other private institutions, where they work after working hours, whether they are doctors, professors at other institutions, and I think that such an issue contributes to fighting information, but also to preventing any possible misuse of public money”, was expressed by Abel Tahiri, Minister of Justice, in an interview.
Citizens appreciate the work of doctors as sensitive until they see the need to demonstrate their wealth.
The Kosovo Medical Oda says in principle it supports this initiative, but there are some uncertainties.
Minister Tahiri has said the proposal is for property to declare a portion of police officials with sensitive positions, such as fighting corruption and terrorism.
Part of the wealth declaration is neither a part of the tax administration inspectors nor customs officers intended to add this list.
