Yesterday at noon, following the opposition protest before parliament, DP leader Lulzim Basha, and LSI head Monica Kryegri, addressed the CEC, also handing over the resignations of the candidate list, which complete the total names that the DP and the LSI offered in the 2017 elections.
Lulzim Basha, himself, has submitted 103 resignations - the names of those who refused to receive the MP's mandate.
In all, the Democratic Party and its allies inside the list presented a list of 194 candidates in 2017.
But yesterday only 103 resigned, while it could win only 42 seats in parliament.
Of the winning list of 42 names, two deputies -- Muslim Murrizi and Rudina Hajdari -- have not submitted the mandate.
From a simple estimate, it turns out that at least 49 candidates from the list names Lulzim Basha presented to Albanians in 2017 have refused to obey him and could receive the MP's mandate.
There are many names on the list from Allied parties.
The first to accept the warrant was Ligaoraq Karamello I The PBDNJ, while many other names are expected to receive the mandate.
The DP could soon have a new parliamentary body, which could be the same as the number of MPs it had in the Assembly.
Out of the number of 49 people who have refused to resign from the Lulzim Basha list, this will soon be the president of the DP with an unknown parliamentary group that has emerged from its lists in the CEC in 2017.
The CNA.al, meanwhile, reports that even some names that have signed the resignation under pressure from Lulzim Basha and the DP leaders are expected to renegotiate the submitted resignation, declaring a new stance, namely accepting the deputy's mandate.
