The senator's violent reaction was immediately blocked by those present, and a young man recorded everything on his phone, handing it over to the police.
As soon as it stopped, Anning was commenting on the massacre, where 49 people were killed, stressing that the reasons are related to immigration policies allowing Muslim fanatics to enter New Zealand.
He then added that if Muslims are victims today, they are usually the authors.
According to him, Islam is simply a violent ideology of a sixth - century despot, disguised as a religious leader.
His statements were criticised via Twitter and by Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who named them disgusting phrases and that these attitudes have no place in Australia.
