Albania bans Boeing 737-8 and 738-9 flights

The Albanian Civil Aviation Authority announced that no such aircraft will operate at the “International Airport, Mother Teresa”, on any of the scheduled flight lines.
Thus, AAC joined the European Security Agency in Operation (EASA), following the fatal accident in Ethiopia on March 10th that resulted in 157 casualties.
To join the EASA initiative in this case, AAC has formulated the release of an NOTAMi (the operator's warning) by Albcontrol, which prohibits the operation of aircraft of this kind in Albanian airspace, and the International Airport “Mother Teresa”, for an indefinite time, to the successor directives of the EASA, which will depend on information that will come from the investigation of causes of the Kenya <x>, the Albanian Civil Authority announced.
Kosovo made the same decision yesterday, as well as many European and European Union countries.
