Adjusting the specific assets of social companies with direct negotiation is approved

Pristina has announced the interested parties [ physical and/or judicial subject] that the Board of Directors of the Kosovo Privatisation Agency has approved the regulation for selling the specific assets of social companies with direct negotiation. The regulation in the concrete case constitutes the Agency's sublegal act, which concerns the examination of specific nature assets that are identified in the name of social companies, while the same, in the sense of the Kosovo Privatisation Agency Law, are included under the jurisdiction of this Agency.

The Board of Directors made such a decision, given the fact that towards their social companies and/or assets, a significant number of property claims with a potentially contradictory nature, while the validation of these claims requires a considerable measure of time and professional work.

Referring to Article 15 of the Law for the Kosovar Privatisation Agency, the Board of Directors has competence that, in accordance with the legislation in power, it examines all those requirements and/or claims of specific nature which qualify as such, while pose obstacles to the process of transforming property.

The agency encourages different subjects (phisics and/or legal laws) that they have the right to initiate the negotiation process directly with the Agency, if in advance it proves that their claims qualify as specific cases (the legal basis of claims, nature, the complex issue, the origin of other claims, according to the rule cited as above) and refer to the assets of any social enterprise, which, under legislation in power, came under the administration of this institution.

In accordance with the legislation in force, the initiative of the administrative procedure on issues explained as above is made according to the Agency's official task in name and on behalf of social companies and the demand of interested parties, which in Regional Offices and/or on the Agency's official site, may be equipped with the Formariat for the initiative of the procedure, which contains the requirements and some of the principled instructions.

For support, advice and eventual explanation citizens have the right to address the Regional Offices and/or the Agency's Central Office, while complete demand is delivered directly to the Regional Office in whose territory real estate lies.
