I find it hypocritical that every time we talk about such cases, we're too late. The girl from Drenas is already too late. We have failed, we have built no state that protects them, but a state that violates them. We have three institutions of teacher, police, and physician who abused official duty and systematically raped”, Ymer added.
The MP said officials have used the authority society attributes to him, that of being a man.
Could we not treat women more than just for use? We have not ruined this mentality, but we have deepened it. The problem is not normal decay, but they have deepened and sophisticated”, Ymer stressed, saying that the social response to this case is encouraging.
The Kosovo Assembly is holding parliamentary debate over the case of sexual harassment, sexual rape and illegal abortion of minors and institutional responsibility of the Government of Kosovo.
