UPP Hall named Idriz Ajjeti

So said the University of Pristina memorial academy “Hasan Pristina”, where life and the work of academic Idriz Ajeti, who passed away on 13 February this year at the age of 102, at the top.
In this case, it became known that the hall where Pristina's linguistic consultation was held in 1968 and where the International Seminary was established in 1974 will be called “Hello.
Rector UP, Marjan Dema, said that academic Ajeti, with his contribution, higher education, left an entire treasure behind him, being an example for students, colleagues and all who knew him.
<x) Professor Ajeti left us much to remember and honor. He was an excellent intellectual, albanologist, professor, and albanologist. During his lifetime, he touched the tops of science and language in the land and abroad. His contribution for several decades to the UP, has left a lasting impression on our institution's history”, he said.
While Professor Bardh Rugova, head of the Albanian Department of Language at the Philological Faculty, has announced that this Friday, with a decision by the UPP Council, the hall where the International Albanian Language and Literature seminar was established in 1974, has taken the name <x0driz Ajeti”.

On behalf of the family, the occasion went to the late academic's niece, Remzije Ajeti, who said Idriz Ayjeti would be the best guide for the coming generations.
“Every day of the life of Idriz was the page of such a rich and so brilliant biography, which he, during a century's journey, took care to write so well and carefully, not only as a student and a professor, a scientist and founder of the institutions of higher education, humanist and activist, but also as an extraordinary husband and family. For us, he was and will remain the guide of a successful life and a very noble figure”, she said.
Academical Idriz Ayjeti passed away on 13 February this year, leaving behind him constant traces in Albanian history. He had served in various managerial positions until 1973, where he had reached the peak of a career as a UP reactor, where he served until 1975, thus making an extraordinary contribution to the University of Pristina.
