Thaci EUE: Give us visas or we'll be equipped with Albanian passports

Thaci has declared that if the EU does not speed up the visa liberalisation process for Kosovars, then they will have no choice but to be equipped with Albania's passport.

The country's president has even said that concrete steps must be taken by the state of Albania, according to him Albanian authorities would have to be more genocious in this regard.

“As long as the European Union is delayed Albania's institutions would have to be a lot more virtuous to grant citizenship and passports and visas, Kosovo citizens have no other address now. I think that as long as it takes me late the European Union, we will have to grant it citizenship and passports to the citizens of Kosovo”, Thaci has told Top Channel.

Thaci has also welcomed the position of official Tirana and the continued support and support Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
