Serbia's Foreign Affairs Minister, Ivica Dacic, has said that setting the border with Kosovo is not an official proposal, but the idea of state officials.
According to him, if this idea becomes an official proposal, then it will pass to Serbia's Parliament as well as to decide citizens through the referendum.
Minister Dacic's comments were made after meeting with Burund Foreign Minister Ezechiel Nibigira, REL reports.
However, on Tuesday, Dacic had declared that setting the border with Kosovo is Serbia's official proposal.
Several hours after this statement, Serbia's President, Aleksandar Vuciq, said the idea for “the establishment of the border between Albanians and Serbs in Kosovo and Serbia has been given by itself since two years ago”.
I have nothing to comment on. I said that two years ago”, Vuciq said during a visit to a health institution in Belgrade.
The issue of border change between Kosovo and Serbia is mentioned several times even by Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, who calls this process “correction of borders”. /Periscopi/
