Rama suggests to the opposition: No resignation, no choice

Nothing's happening. If there is anything, it is a deep crisis of opposition that is unable to challenge the government politically. This minority is weaker than in the 2017 elections: if we were to vote tomorrow, they would get less votes”, says Prime Minister Edi Rama in an interview for [...]
Rama emphasises that the Assembly has a guaranteed majority, and that majority representatives are elected by popular votes.
Rama says he has the contract with Albanians who have voted it, adding that he will respect it to the end.
Asked about the opposition's request to leave the government, the Executive Leader says “as do not think about it. I have a clear mandate from the people, we have a majority in Parliament and finally I have an obligation against my countrymen. I am not obliged to follow the demands of the parliamentary minority. The only obligation is contract with the Albanian people, who have given us the vote to govern”.
Rama claims to Corriere Della Sera that “let me tell you that we are fully committed to justice reform: we never have fought so much corruption now and are working to make public administration immune to bribery”.
The results can't come so quickly”, he says.
