The decree, made public Friday, says Putin has replaced nine generals and two colonels, who held high-level positions in the Investigative Committee and the Interior and Emergency Ministry.
Downloaded officials include General Sergei Solopov, chief of the directorate for preventing corruption in Moscow's police force.
The decree gives no reason for dismissals.
