He has said that this bill addresses political parties' interests, while adding that even strikes that hit the country just left behind were initiated by politics -- namely, by Chief Parliamentary Kadri Wessel.
Abdixhiku stressed that the LDK will not vote either on the wage bill, which he said only deepens the frustrations between sectors, as he added that strikes in education, health and mining have been co-ordinated and orchestrated by the PDK, as part of internal blackmail of the ruling coalition
“Greva has been used as political instrument by Mr. Wessel first and since he is a political instrument, we treat him as such. Thus, strikes have been launched on political orders, addressed by political orders, and closed with political orders. In such a situation, let's not forget, there is a huge disrepute between the private sector and the public sector. The public sector salary is three times larger than the minimum wage in Kosovo... We consider the strike has been co-ordinated and orchestrated by the PDK as part of the internal blackmail of the ruling coalition”, he said.
