Minister of Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj, has said the government of Kosovo must fulfill its obligation to pay off the 53m-euro debt to contractor '%Bechtel & Enka possibly, which took over the completion of the CHAArba Xhaferaj highway.
Pal Lekaj said that despite the contract being signed after the government's procrastination of preliminary payments, the entire project was not seriously addressed, Klan Kosova reports.

There are two chapters in this contract annex one talks about completion of the works December 31st, 1818x1>.
And the other one because of our budget payments and so the contract would be valid until June 1st, 2019, not to do the work but to pay off the debt that we have to write down.
