1. British Ambassador Ruairi O'Connell is also Kosovo's son-in-law. He is married to a Kosovo journalist with whom he has three children, two girls and one son.

2. His job as ambassador is not the first time he brought him to Kosovo. He has served in the diplomatic mission of Great Britain from January 2004 to June 2008.
3. O'Connell attended the Kosovo Declaration of Independence ceremony on February 17, 2008.

4. Ambassador speaking four languages. Albanian, French, Russian and Serbian.
5. O'Connell has completed his studies at UCL and Oxford University.
