Former head of the Appeals Court, Salih Macaj, will now work as a licensed lawyer. The guy on Facebook who published his lawyer's certificate.

“A new start”, he wrote on Facebook.

So Salih McCaj from a court chief arrested on charges of two criminal acts returns to the justice system in another position. Now the lawyer's.

The Constitutional Court in Pristina last year had acquitted Mekay of all charges against him.

Two years after the indictment was filed, the former head of the Court of Appeals learned the verdict pronounced by the Pristina Foundation Court in connection with the prosecution's claims against him.

Mekaj, who was arrested in July 2015, is being charged with misusing office in connection with a case in which, according to the prosecution, McAj would be committed to assigning judicial examinations on two occasions and judicial re-cillation of criminal acts.

Almost all this trial has been conducted behind closed doors because the defence had called for closure of the public hearing, as, according to them, the privacy of the parties in the procedure could be violated.

We remember that Salih Mcajh was also one of the judges that Adem Grabovci mentioned in wiretaping “Proto”. /Periscopi
