As it has been thought, digitalisation is not reducing jobs, but opening new jobs. All this is bringing with it a greater migration to Germany from the European Union, but also from other countries, the Balkans.
This is the completion of Bertelsman Foundation's recent research, titled “
Researchers predict that in the future, over 80 percent of the value added to the production industry, as well as in the service sector, will be realized on digital grounds.
They estimate that the German market is not prepared enough for such a development.
The biggest problem at this moment is the lack of qualified personnel. The demand for people with higher education is far greater than the offer, and this trend will continue in the coming years”, says the report, writes the DW, sends out Telegrafi.
The demand for work in Germany for the period 2017-35 will be around 1.13 million workers. According to the authors of the study, this is a moderate decline in labour, but demand for experts and specialists will increase.
Some 65 percent of people from other countries who are mainly asylum seekers work in auxiliary work.
Germany requires workers, but how will they be accepted?
However, the solution would have to meet the quality demands of the labour market, because according to researchers, only migration of people with adequate qualifications allows for their rapid integration into the labour market and prevents the lack of qualified workforce.
On the other hand, migration of unqualified people poses problems for both sides. Its result is that migrants who cannot find jobs (proper) and companies who cannot continue filling free countries.
