In honor of this day, at Arben Xhedindin's tomb there is family homazhe and Movement activists, Kosovo reports.
Shaban Xhedindin, the father of the slain, calls on the government to find those who killed two of the activists and injured more than 80 others on February 10th 2007.
So far our governments have fallen asleep in winter and have not taken any steps to find criminals who beat and carried violence to over 80 people. The damage done in people doesn't impress our government. Our boys are not considered Kosovo defenders, even former President Hashim Thaci a few years ago was put in defense of Romanian police officers, who said they did not kill Romanian police, but LVV”.
According to him, UNMIK police officers -- criminals as he calls them -- are still not found after so long.
“Life has been terrorised through the Romanian police contingent. The protest was peaceful with Ahtisaari's plan that provided solutions to Kosovo's future, which were not too bad. These solutions are now being seen to our detriment. LVV saw this danger”.
