Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Eurasia Matthew Palmer has reiterated Washington's official position that the Pristina authorities' decision to impose tax on products of origin from Serbia must be suspended so that dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade paves the way.
As the news agency '%sanugú writes, Palmer made these statements in a conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in resignation for Kthim and Community, Dalibor Jevtic.
They have estimated that all pending issues between the two states should be resolved only through dialogue.
This conversation has reportedly found that taxing has negatively affected reports between the two states.
Suspending the tax has repeatedly demanded even the US Embassy in Pristina, even stating that a resistance not to lifting that decision could affect Kosovo- USA.
Despite the calls, Haradinaj remains determined that the tax will be lifted only when Serbia recognises the independence of the Republic of Kosovo.
Such a statement was issued yesterday even by the AAK Parliamentary Group meeting.
